6 Dresses Under $200

In just a few weeks, one of my dearest friends will be getting married in Boca Raton. The wedding – which has called for formal wear – will take place outdoors at an old Palm Beach style mansion in the early evening. Seeing as the weather in South Florida can be quite warm, I wanted to find a dress that would be comfortable outdoors and yet still formal enough. Oh, and I had a $200 budget.

This first dress from TFNC London sells for $119. I like the fact that it is short and looks to be made of a light fabric – two good things to fight the heat. I also think the beading makes it look a bit nicer.

Macy’s sells this Tahari by ASL dress for $148. Just like the other dress, the fabric seems very airy. But, do you think it’s too light?

This Maggy London dress is one of only two full length dresses I am considering. I appreciate the fact that it is not satin or skin tight – two things that would get on my nerves! And, the cinched waist might make a few pounds disappear…

This London Times dress hits just below the knees, which I think makes it a bit more formal. The full lace overlay also gives it a special touch.

Pockets! Who doesn’t love pockets! I’m hesitant to purchase this dress because the princess cut may be too severe. But, on the other hand, I really like it!

This Bloomingdale’s Boutique dress has a similar silhouette to the other full length gown and beading like the first dress. This is also the most economical dress…

Which dress would you choose? Help!

  1. Good choices. Tfcn, London times or the White house black market… Pockets are always a plus!
